Round Rock Police Search For Possibly Armed Road Rage Suspect
In the meantime, there are unconfirmed reports that Hopewell Middle School is in lock-down mode but it's unclear if there's a connection.

UPDATE: Police identified a possibly armed suspect who fled on foot after what was described as a road rage incident, with streets around the search area in the area of Bass Loop and Perch Trail since reopened, the Round Rock Police Department said late Wednesday.
Police initially urged the public to avoid the area given the pursuit. Details in their subsequent update were scant, and it's not known if the suspect was in detention and whether he or she was armed. Police also didn't specify the nature of the incident that led to the pursuit.
But with the update, they no doubt assuaged concerns of residents—many of whom took to social media to express their anxiety. Assuming more details are forthcoming from police, Patch will endeavor to provide a more amplified report on the incident.

@roundrockpolice Can you tell us why Hopewell MS is in lockdown?
