UPDATE: Round Rock police late Wednesday were interviewing a person of interest in connection to a fatal shooting outside a gas station. One person was killed in a fatal shooting at the Wag-A-Bag store at Old Settlers Road. No further details were provided related to the person being interviewed. ROUND ROCK, TX — Police were looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting occurring Wednesday night, according to law enforcement officials.

The shooting occurred at the Wag-A-Bag gas station, 1490 E. Old Settlers Blvd., located at the intersection of Old Settlers Boulevard and Sunrise Road, police said. Police received an emergency call about the shooting just before 9:30 p.m., later reporting that one person was fatally shot in the confrontation.
A police spokeswoman said via Twitter that the suspected shooter fled on foot. Police were still searching for the suspect as of late Wednesday, dispatching a police helicopter to aid in the search.
