Round Rock Police Seek Aggravated Robbery Suspect (Video)
Law enforcement officials issued a plea for help from the public in locating man accused of robbing at a Motel 6 on Feb. 16.
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — The Round Rock Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an aggravated robbery earlier this month.
Police sent the plea in a press advisory issued on Thursday. The unidentified suspect is accused of the robbery that took place on Feb. 16 at a Motel 6 located at 1400 N. Interstate Hwy 35 at around 2 a.m. The suspect is described as a white male standing between five feet, ten inches and six foot, two inches in height with a thin to medium build.
The Round Rock Police Department released surveillance camera footage showing the suspect on their Facebook page and other forums. In the video snippet, the man is seen running into the motel lobby displaying a weapon and holding a bag before fleeing the scene. His face is obscured with what appears to be a bandanna.
