Round Rock Police Seek Help Identifying Pedestrian Killed By Car

The unidentified black or Hispanic woman was struck along the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 Wednesday night.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a pedestrian who was struck and killed in the north-bound lanes of Interstate 35 Wednesday night.

Law enforcement officials on Thursday said the woman was struck by a vehicle just past 7:15 p.m. along the I-35 lanes just south of SH 45. A stretch of highway was closed for about four hours following the crash to accommodate emergency workers and investigating police.

There were no other injuries reported. No charges were filed as a result of the accident, police said.

The unidentified victim is described as either an African American or Hispanic woman between the ages of 35 to 45 standing at a height between five feet, three inches, and five feet, five inches. She weighed between 150 to 160 pounds. At the time of her death, the woman was wearing a dark gray, patterned Texas Rangers baseball cap, a black shirt over a red one, black tights with a skull-and-crossbones motif and red/black basketball-style shoes.
