Round Rock Police Seek Public's Help To ID Bank Robbery Suspect

Surveillance camera images of suspect were released in the aftermath of heist at a Wells Fargo bank branch along Round Rock Avenue.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a bank robbery suspect accused of demanding money from a teller Tuesday afternoon before fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred at the Wells Fargo bank branch, 505 Round Rock Ave., just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Police said the suspect approached the teller while demanding money before exiting the building traveling south. Police were scant with details in their press advisory, not revealing if the man secured cash, displayed a weapon or if any injuries resulted from the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 45 and 50 years old standing at about six feet tall with a medium build. Police released surveillance camera image of the suspect in the hopes that someone might recognize him and alert them as to his whereabouts.
