Round Rock Refuse Announces Temporary Changes To Pickup Schedule

Trash-only pickup to begin Friday for regular Thursday customers

Round Rock Refuse, the City’s residential trash and recycling service provider, will provide pickup on the following schedule:

  • Friday, Feb. 19 — Trash-only service for regular Thursday customers
  • Saturday, Feb. 20 — Trash-only service for regular Friday customers

The regular pickup schedule will resume on Monday, Feb. 22, with trash-only service.

Trash service on these days includes the regular “plus 7” item pickup: You can place 7 additional bags or bundles curbside with your bin. Customers who intend to use their regular pickup service to discard tree limbs must bundle the limbs so the bundles are no more than 4 feet in length and weigh 40 pounds or less. The bundle cannot include tree limbs greater than 4 inches in diameter.

Round Rock Refuse will resume its normal recycle pickup schedule beginning March 1.

Trash and recycle service has been suspended since Monday, Feb. 15, because of icy road conditions.
