Round Rock Teacher On Leave After Mocking Trump-Supporting Kid
Teacher announced her fervent dislike of Donald Trump and then proceeded to taunt senior who's expressed admiration of tax plan.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — A Round Rock high school teacher has been placed on administrative leave after bring accused of mocking a student for his support of Donald Trump and calling others "a bunch of Trumpies."
The incident is said to have occurred within the first two weeks of school after summer vacation in an AP science class at McNeil High School. A parent told KVUE the teacher said to a class of high school seniors: "By the way, I hate Donald Trump with a burning passion and he is a complete douchebag" ’ to a class full of seniors in high school.
After voicing her disdain for the president, the unidentified instructor then noticed turning to her son fora reaction, knowing of his support for the Trump tax plan. "Oh," the teacher is said to have then said. "It seems like I have a table full of Trumpies over there."

The teacher then took to calling the student "Trump" when addressing him, the mother told the news station.
"He was embarrassed. She completely undermined him, his intelligence, his belief and his opinions. All of this should stay out of the classroom,” the boy's mother told KVUE.

Reached by the news station for comment, Round Rock ISD officials said the teacher was removed several days after the incident and remains on administrative leave. But the offended student's parents want her banned from the classroom permanently: "Politics should stay out of the classroom, period,” the mother of the aggrieved teen said.
