Round Rock Teen Found Safe After Going Missing

14-year-old from the Teravista neighborhood was subject of massive search effort after being reported missing at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A 14-year-old Round Rock boy with autism who was the subject of a search after being reported missing Sunday night has been found safe, officials said.

On Monday at around 5:35 a.m., county officials alerted the public the teen had been missing since 11:30 p.m. the previous night. He had last been seen at home in the Teravista subdivision in Round Rock. Police described the last clothes the boy was last seen wearing in the hopes someone might spot him and alert police as to his whereabouts.

Just over an hour later at 6:53 a.m., county officials sent an email the teen was found safe. Before the boy was found, multiple agencies from across the county had been involved in the search, according to county officials.
