Round Rock Traffic Stop Yields 200 Pounds Of Pot

ROUND ROCK, TX — A Round Rock traffic stop this weekend yielded nearly 200 pounds of marijuana, the sheriff's office said.
The traffic stop occurred Friday along the 2200 block of Interstate 35 in Round Rock, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. Aided by a police canine, a deputy is said to have found eight 50-gallon trash bags filled with packaged marijuana weighing a collective 195.6 pounds in the bed of a pickup truck that was stopped, according to the sheriff's office.
The name of the suspect was not disclosed. No further details were made available.
