Round Rock Welcomes New Councilman, Bids Farewell To Another
Frank Leffingwell ends council tenure as Matt Baker is sworn in as newly elected representative for Place 3.

ROUND ROCK, TX — The community bid farewell to former council member Frank Leffingwell and welcomed Matt Baker as the new elected representative for Place 3 at Thursday’s regularly scheduled Council meeting.
Local residents, friends, family and city staff gathered to celebrate the end of Leffingwell’s tenure and to welcome Baker as he was sworn in to his three-year term. Leffingwell reflected on the teamwork he enjoyed with his fellow council members, municipal staff and loved ones who made it possible for him to serve his community.
“Elected leaders committed to working together are continuing to make Round Rock a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Leffingwell said. “The people of Round Rock deserve only the very best.”
