Round Rock Woman Accused Of Stealing Money From Church School
Cynthia Lynn Heaney, 51, is accused of taking $3,940 from early childhood school operated by Lifepointe Fellowship Church in Hutto.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police have accused a Round Rock woman of stealing nearly $4,000 from a church school in Hutto, according to a published report.
Referencing a recently released arrest affidavit, the Austin American-Statesman reported that Cynthia Lynn Heaney, 51, allegedly stole the money from an early childhood school operated by Lifepointe Fellowship Church in Hutto. At the time, Heaney was tasked with collecting payments from parents, making receipts and depositing the money from the students' parents into the church bank account, according to the report.
One parent told police she paid $600 per month starting in September, but receipts showed she had only paid $200 that month and a mere $320 in October, the Statesman noted in its affidavit-based report. Police later found Heaney had stolen $3,940 from the church school last year.
