RRPD Arrest Suspect In Jan. 9 Homicide
At approximately 5:10 a.m. Jan. 9, Officers responded to a report of a gunshot and a subject lying on the ground.

On Jan. 19, Round Rock Police arrested Gage Johnston on a charge of capital murder. On Jan. 9, the 28-year-old suspect is alleged to have shot and killed 27-year-old Jerrionn Burleson in the 1600-block of Peachtree Valley Drive in Round Rock. It is believed the two subjects, both Austin residents, knew each other. We appreciate all the tips that were submitted by the public.

At approximately 5:10 a.m. Jan. 9, Officers responded to a report of a gunshot and a subject lying on the ground. The adult male subject was deceased when Officers arrived.
