On-Site Sewage Facility Program Relocates to Williamson County Office

Round Rock Retail Food Office also relocating to Georgetown, county officials said.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Two county functions will close in order to relocate to more streamlined operations in Georgetown, Texas, officials said Thursday.

Effective October 2, the On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) Program operated by the Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) will become part of the Williamson County Engineer/Road and Bridge Division, county officials said. The OSSF offices will be closed on Friday, Sept. 29, and Monday, Oct. 2, in order to relocate to the Williamson County Central Maintenance Facility, 3151 S.E. Inner Loop, in Georgetown, Texas. The OSSF office will open at their new location on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

According to County Engineer Terron Evertson P.E., the move will combine development services under one roof: “We believe having all development review functions at a single location will allow us to more efficiently and cost effectively serve our customers,” Evertson said.
