Store Robbery Brings Out SWAT Team In Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX — A police SWAT team responded to a reported robbery in progress Thursday afternoon in Round Rock, officials said.

The SWAT team surrounded a business at 1510 Sam Bass Rd. shortly after 4 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Round Rock Police Department. An armed man reportedly entered the business while demanding money, fleeing with an undetermined mount of cash.

Area roadways were closed off as police sought the suspect, but he eluded law enforcement. The suspect is described as a young Hispanic man last seen wearing black pants, a blue striped shirt and black-and-white bandanna.
