Tax Breaks Available For Some Williamson County Homeowners

The Williamson Central Appraisal District is urging property owners to take advantage of available tax exemptions.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The Williamson Central Appraisal District is urging property owners to take advantage of available tax exemptions.

County officials remind property owners they can fill out a free homestead application to get considered for a tax exemption. The state also offers exemptions to Disabled Veterans with disability ratings ranging from 10 percent to 90 percent, along with tax breaks for disabled person and residents over the age of 65.

The Williamson Central Appraisal District accepts applications for all exemption types year-round. For more details on qualifications and to get an application form, email exemptions@wcad.org.
