Two Men Arrested In Connection To Recent Rash Of Car Burglaries

H​orace Lee Caruther Jr., 41, and Disi Gault, 19. arrested after a search warrant was executed at the 3800 block of Haley's Way.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police have accused two suspects as being behind multiple thefts, including a string of armed robberies and car burglaries in Round Rock.

According to court documents, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office SWAT unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 3800 block of Haley's Way, KEYE reported. During the search, officers found six handguns, ammunition, cell phones and laptop computers, the news station reported.

Police subsequently arrested Horace Lee Caruther Jr., 41, and Disi Gault, 19. According to the sheriff's office, Caruther has been charged as a felon in possession of a firearm and Gault has been charged with theft of a firearm, according to the report.

The search warrant leading to the men's arrests was filed after an ongoing investigation in connection to several armed robberies and vehicle burglaries in Round Rock that occurred between December 2016 and January 2017. Sheriff's officials said itsms found at the home are linked to the previous burglaries.
