Here’s a convenient list to help you plan for the holiday.

Federal offices: Closed.

State offices: Open.

County offices: Travis and Williamson county offices will be open. Williamson County tax offices will be closed for employee training.

City offices: Most will be open Monday. Bertram, Burnet, Leander and Llano city offices are among those that will be closed.

Banks, savings and loans, and credit unions: Most will be closed Monday; check with the business.

Buses: Capital Metro and CARTS buses will run as usual Monday.

Colleges and universities: Concordia University Texas will be closed Monday through Friday. Southwestern University will be closed Monday and Tuesday for fall break. All other colleges and universities are open.

Garbage collection and landfills: Collection services will be provided as usual, and all landfills will be open.

Libraries: The Dripping Springs Community Library will be closed through Tuesday. The Kingsland and Llano libraries will be closed today through Monday. The Buda, Florence, Kyle and Westbank libraries will be closed Monday.

Mail service: Post offices will be closed Monday; only express mail will be delivered.

Schools: Schools in Coupland, Dripping Springs, Eanes, Elgin, Florence, Georgetown, Granger, Hays, Hutto, Jarrell, Lago Vista, Leander, Liberty Hill, Manor, Pflugerville, Round Rock and Taylor districts are closed Monday.
