WilCo Forward Grant Program Disburses $18.5M To Businesses
Since its May 6 launch, the program has helped business owners hit hard by financial losses spurred by the coronavirus.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β In their latest update, county officials said this week the Wilco Forward grant program designed to help businesses hard hit by the coronavirus effects, has disbursed $18.5 million in funds.
The program was launched May 6. Officials said the Williamson County Auditorβs Office is reviewing each application carefully, making the processing of the documents time-consuming; however, every business owner will hear back from the county regarding their application.
The grant money will be issued as applications are processed until the $25 million in budgeted funds are exhausted. To apply online before the June 30, 2020, deadline visit www.wilco.org/forward. Wilco Forward is funded through the approximately $93 million the County received from the CARES Act.
