WilCo Justice Of The Peace Office To Close 2 Weeks In November
Office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor will be closed for staff training during two weeks.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor will be closed for staff training during two weeks in November, officials revealed on Friday.
The office closures will be Nov. 4 and 7 and Nov. 22, according to a press advisory. The office is closed to the public on Wednesdays.
“The training is a critical step as our court transitions to the Odyssey Case Management System which will better serve Precinct 4 residents,” Justice of the Peace Stacy Hackenberg explained in a prepared statement. “The JP4 court is the only court not using the platform, which makes it challenging to work with other departments and agencies involved in the justice system.”

The court also is transitioning to a paperless system, Hackenberg added. Taking these two steps will save taxpayers money and will increase efficiency of court operations, the judge noted.
While the office is closed, people who want to make payments on their cases can continue to pay online, mail their payments and use the court’s drop box on the north side of the building at 211 W. Sixth St. in Taylor. “We apologize for any inconvenience to our clients,” Hackenberg said.
