WilCo Offices Closed On Memorial Day
Local government will be shut down in observance of holiday on Monday, May 27, but animal shelter will remain open.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day, officials said.
All county operations will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 28. However, the Commissioners Court will not meet on that day., according to a county advisory.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open regular hours on Monday from noon to 6 p.m. In honor of Memorial Day, from Friday, May 24, through Monday, May 27, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is hosting free adoptions for all adult dogs and cats.

"Be a hero to a pet and adopt a new family member this weekend," officials wrote in their advisory.
