WilCo Suspect Flees After Being Placed In Custody (Video)
Sheriff Robert Chody posts video showing felony theft suspect Ronald Luis Scott Jr. slip off his handcuffs and wriggling out of patrol car.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is seeking a suspect who managed to escape from police custody while in the back of a patrol car on Monday.
On his Twitter page, Sheriff Robert Chody posted a video of Ronald Luis Scott Jr. slipping off his handcuffs, crawling through a small partition separating the rear and front parts of the patrol car he was in and fleeing.
Scott was picked up on a felony theft warrant, Chody wrote. It's unclear how long Scott was left alone in the patrol car before he managed to escape. Anyone seeing him is urged to call 911.
