Williamson County Arrests Man For 2nd Time, This Time For Cocaine Possession
Horace Lee Caruthers Jr., 41, was previously arrested on gun charges in Round Rock, according to WilCo sheriff's office.

TAYLOR, TX — Members of the Williamson Count Sheriff's office on Thursday executed a search warrant, netting a suspect accused of being in the process of manufacturing crack cocaine, officials said.
Police on Friday said the search warrant was executed along the 400 block of East Rio Grande Street in Taylor, Texas, on Thursday at about 4:15 p.m. Upon entering the home, sheriff's deputies located about seven ounces of cocaine, according to an advisory released by the sheriff's office.
The suspect, Horace Lee Caruthers Jr., 41, was apprehended while in the process of making crack cocaine, police said. Officials said the sheriff's SWAT team also located $10,000.00 in cash and a stolen handgun, both of which were seized.

He was charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs and for violating probation, according to sheriff's officials. Caruthers has since bonded out of jail, officials added.
This was the second time in a week that Caruthers has been arrested, according to officials. On March 22, he and a teenager reportedly were arrested on gun charges after the Williamson County Sheriff's Office SWAT unit searched a Round Rock residence in connection to an investigation into a string of armed robberies and burglaries.
