Williamson County EMS Offering First Aid Classes To Public
Register until June 7 for upcoming American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes to learn how to save a life in an emergency.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Emergency first responders will offer first aid classes open to anyone wishing to learn how to save a life in a medical emergency, officials said.
Registration for the American Heart Association CPR and First Aid sessions is open until 5 p.m. on June 7, officials said. The classes are scheduled to take place on June 10. Classes and cost to register as follows:
- HeartSaver First Aid Class (Adult), Saturday, June 10 8 a.m. to noon at Williamson County EMS Clinical Practices Building, 321 W. 8th Street, Georgetown (across from the library). Cost: $30 (includes student manual).
- HeartSaver CPR AED Class (Adult/Child/Infant), Saturday, June 10 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Williamson County EMS Clinical Practices Building, 321 W. 8th Street, Georgetown (across from the library). Cost: $35 (includes student manual)
Those wishing to take both classes can enroll for a total of just $45. To register online click on the link found here. Enter Georgetown, TX for the location, then enter the class date for both start and ending time. Scroll to the desired Williamson County EMS class. Click the details button followed by the reserve button. Submit completed form to complete the registration process.
