In collaboration with school districts, agency that works with expelled student also offers youth accessible, nutritional sustenance.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County Juvenile Services officials on Monday announced the availability of free and reduced meals for children served under current income eligibility guidelines.

The department, in collaboration with the 11 school districts within Williamson County, is perhaps best known for running a Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) for youth expelled from their home campus. But the agency also provides meals through the National Breakfast and Lunch Programs.

Starting on Aug. 16, Williamson County Juvenile Services will begin distributing letters and applications to households of the children it serves about eligibility benefits for free and reduced meals. Applications are also available at 200 Wilco Way, Georgetown, TX 78626.
