Williamson County Offices To Close For Thanksgiving
Commissioners court meeting that would have taken place on Tuesday will be postponed until Dec. 4, officials said.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — Williamson County offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday, officials said.
County offices will resume operations on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. The Commissioners Court meeting that is usually held on Tuesdays will not take place on Nov. 27. The next Commissioners Court meeting following the holiday will be Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS), 1855 S.E. Inner Loop, Georgetown, will close on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open to serve the needs of the public on Friday, Nov. 23, during their regular business hours. Gobble up some love with “Name Your Price” adoptions on cats, kittens, and dogs from Nov. 19 through 25. Puppies are $75 to adopt. November also is “Adopt a Senior” month, so all animals over 8 years of age are free to adopt all month long! View adoptable pets at pets.wilco.org.
