Williamson County Offices Closed For July 4

All offices will reopen on Thursday, July 5 and animal shelter will stay open for dog, cat adoptions.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the July 4th Independence Day holiday, officials said.

All offices will reopen on Thursday, July 5. Moreover the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter's Inner Loop location, 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, will be open for cats adoptions Monday-Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The animal shelter's Canine Corral, 425 E. Morrow St. in Georgetown, will be open for dog adoptions from Monday through Friday noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus, the WCRAS Canine Corral will stay open one hour later until 7 p.m. on July 4th, so that as many dogs as possible can find loving adoptive or foster homes, officials said.

In addition, the Commissioners Court will not meet on Tuesday, July 3, and will resume their regular schedule on Tuesday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main Street, in Georgetown, according to a county advisory.
