Williamson County Offices Closed On Presidents Day
Also: There will be no commissioners court meeting on Feb. 18, with the next such gathering scheduled on Feb. 25 instead.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — All Williamson County offices will be closed on Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents Day, officials said on Monday.
County operations will resume regular hours by Tuesday, Feb. 18, according to a county press advisory. Moreover, officials said, the Williamson County Commissioners Court will not meet on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Instead, the body's next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25, officials added.
Nevertheless, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown, Texas, will be open regular business hours on Monday from noon to 6 p.m. From February 1 to February 17, the shelter is offering a Valentine’s Day adoption special of $14 on all large adult dogs and cats.
