Williamson County Officials Start Mailing Out Tax Statements
Tax Assessor/Collector's Office sends out tax bills on behalf of more than 100 taxing entities throughout the county.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The taxman cometh, Williamson County residents.
Property tax statements began to be mailed out the on Monday, Oct. 16, according to Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes. The County Tax Assessor/Collector's Office sends out tax bills on behalf of more than 100 taxing entities in Williamson County, he noted.
For residents with taxes in escrow, statements will be mailed to the taxpayers' lenders. Taxes also can be paid by mail, online at www.wilco.org/propertytax/ or in person at any of the four tax office locations in Williamson County:

- Georgetown Tax Office, 904 S. Main St.
- Round Rock Tax Office, 1801 E. Old Settlers Blvd. (drive thru available).
- Cedar Park Tax Office, 350 Discovery Blvd. (Currently under remodel).
- Taylor Tax Office, 412 Vance St.
Property owners can apply for a homestead exemptions as of the first of January every year. Those needing to apply online or unsure whether they already have an exemption on file can look up their status by name, address, or account number on the Williamson Central Appraisal District site at www.wcad.org. Those with questions about their exemptions can contact the Appraisal District at 512-930-3787.
(Notice: Applications for exemptions can be filed for no charge. Do not pay a person or company to file for you, officials said.)

Williamson County, all school districts and the cities of Cedar Park, Florence, Georgetown, Jarrell, Leander, and Liberty Hill also offer seniors age 65 and older, disabled persons and disabled veterans a tax freeze. Under a frozen rate, tax amounts for homesteaded property are held at a certain rate effective January 1st of the year they qualify.
