Williamson County Police Seek Purse Theft Suspect

Woman seen on surveillance footage is said to have busted out car windows to snatch purses inside vehicles at a daycare facility.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is seeking help from the public in identifying a woman said to have broken into two cars to steal purses from a daycare center last week.

The alleged thefts occurred on Oct. 5, when the woman allegedly broke the windows of two cars to steal the purses inside the vehicles, sheriff's office officials said in a tweet. Officials noted they are investigating the matter as case of credit card abuse.

Sheriff's officials told Patch the incident occurred in the parking lot of a daycare facility along the 15500 block of RM 620. Officials posted a surveillance camera image of the suspect in the hopes someone might recognize her and alert police.
