Williamson County Sheriff’s Association of Texas Scholarships To Be Awarded

ROUND ROCK, TX — On Wednesday, May 17, Sheriff Chody will be presenting the Sheriff’s Association of Texas scholarship for the Spring 2017 Semester to Matthew A. Normand, son of Sgt. Shawn Normand of Round Rock PD and Det. Tanya Norman of Austin PD.

The scholarship presentation will take place at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, 508 S. Rock St. in Georgetown, Texas. The Texas Sheriffs’ Association of Texas offers scholarships to eligible students pursuing and academic degree at a college or university and are a son, daughter or grandchild of a current or former Sheriff, a current sheriff’s office employee or Peace Officer serving the State of Texas. The scholarships are awarded once in the spring semester and once in the fall semester of each year.

Matthew is a student at Texas State University, majoring in Engineering.
