Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies Searching For Shooter
Man injured in shooting early Thursday isn't cooperating with police investigation as detectives try to determine suspect's identify.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Sheriff's deputies continue to search for a suspect in a barbershop shooting early Thursday that left a man wounded.
According to reports, deputies were dispatched at 8:15 a.m. amid reports of a shooting inside the Edge Production Barbershop at 15014 Ranch Road 620 N. Upon arrival, police found a man with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
The victim was transported to Round Rock Saint David's Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A sheriff's office spokeswoman told Fox 7 the shooting began in Austin and ended at the barbershop. “We believe this could be a criminal activity that went bad," she said, as reported by the news station. “We don’t believe this was a road rage incident we don’t believe the public is at risk.”
The sheriff's spokeswoman noted the victim was not cooperating with the police investigation, unwilling to let officials know who may have shot him or describe the nature of his relationship with the suspect. He did tell police the suspect shot at him several times and he fired back in defense.
