"Our staff routinely work overtime to keep up with the demand placed on it by Williamson County's growing population," Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes said. "Because the county doesn't alow overtime, employees must reduce their work schedule by the amount of overtime worked, which leaves a shortage of staff during business hours to serve customers. This change will help us improve customer service and reduce wait times."
