Woman Accused Of Stealing $10K From Round Rock Hotel

Angela Trujillo, 41, draws state felony theft charge amid allegations she diverted Candlewood Suites funds into personal bank accounts.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police recently arrested a woman accused of stealing more than $10,000 from a Round Rock hotel where she worked, according to a published report.

Referencing an arrest affidavit released this week, the Austin American-Statesman reported that Angela Trujillo, 41, was charged with theft after allegedly diverting money from the Candlewood Suites, 521 Interstate 35, to personal bank accounts. All told, $10,077 was diverted from January through April, according to the report.

Trujillo was being held in the Williamson County Jail on the state felony theft charge with bail set at $2,500, according to public records. She faces up to two years in jail if convicted.
