Holley Kitchen educated millions about the illness in her final days.
CEDAR PARK-LEANDER, TX -- A Cedar Park woman whose video documenting her battle with breast cancer was watched by millions was laid to rest on Saturday.
Holley Kitchen succumbed to stage 3 breast cancer last week. After her diagnosis, she posted a video of herself conveying her battle with the disease through the use of note cards, with singer Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” playing as background music.

But as the cancer spread--a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatments later--she later amended her wish to just have the opportunity to see her son turn five years old in February.
Tragically, cancer robbed her of fulfilling either wish.
Her video lives on across the ether of the Internet, inspiring others and educating viewers about the illness. So, too, does her memory and the inspiration she engendered live on, as evidenced by the turnout among those celebrating her life at the funeral service.
