• Jacksonville man with felony warrants escapes arrest (star-telegram.com) — Law enforcement are searching the area between Rusk and Jacksonville for Andrew Morgan, a Jacksonville man with multiple felony warrants who escaped after barricading himself in a home on CR 1628. Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous and may face additional charges, and they're asking anyone with information to contact the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.
