Congressman Pfluger Visits West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, Receives Award (sanangelolive.com) — Congressman August Pfluger recently visited the West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind's San Angelo location, recognizing its role in providing jobs and independence for residents with visual impairments. During the visit, he received the AbilityOne Congressional Champion Award and praised the organization's impact on the local community and his commitment to supporting policies that help Texans with disabilities.
2. University and system leaders say the honor reflects strong academics, supportive faculty and staff, and a campus experience that prepares ASU students for successful careers and community impact.

VIDEO: Central Bobcats taking last week's loss as an early-season learning experience (conchovalleyhomepage.com) — Central High's Bobcats are quickly regrouping in San Angelo after last week's road loss, turning the setback into motivation during practice. They'll host longtime rival Abilene Cooper for homecoming at San Angelo Stadium this Friday at 7 p.m., and coaches say facing strong early opponents should pay off as the season progresses.
