Here are the top stories today in San Antonio:

  1. This year, two new Buffalo Wild Wings locations are coming to San Antonio, just in time for the Super Bowl! The first one, located at 1235 Austin Highway, will open on Friday, Feb. 4, and the second location at 8309 Bandera Road will open in the spring. The menu will feature "traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, sides, and 26 signature sauces and seasoning options." Due to the pandemic, however, the venues will offer takeout and delivery only. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. For more information or to place an order, visit online and go to: (mySA)
  2. This month is Black History Month and to celebrate, Arthouse at the Blue Star Arts Complex will be featuring a film series titled "Beautifully Black." Among the features and shorts that will be showcased in the series are "the 1961 drama 'A Raisin in the Sun,' the 1975 coming-of-age dramedy 'Cooley High,' the 1978 drama 'Killer of Sheep,' the 1989 dramedy 'Do the Right Thing,' the 1990 documentary 'Paris is Burning' and the 1991 indie film 'Daughters of the Dust.' The films will be shown on various dates and time, and the cost ranges from free-$160. For more information, please contact the venues at 210-212-9373 or slabcinemaarthouse.com/black-history-month and visit: (San Antonio Current)
  3. After "a devastating two-alarm fire last summer," The Grill located at 24100 I-10 plans to rebuild the restaurant again. "Owner Thierry Burkle is seeking a certificate of appropriateness from the Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC) to make changes to the structure," which include "the partial demolition of its facade" and removing an exterior wall and unstable areas that were damaged. The HDRC voted on Burkle's application on Tuesday, Feb. 2 and upon approval, the facade will be reconstructed "to replicate what was once there." For more information, visit: (San Antonio Current)
