"The 134-year-old Baldinger and Sons makes hamburger buns, rolls, bagels and other items for quick-service restaurants." According to John Buckles, CEO of C.H. Guenther & Son, this "makes it a valuable addition" for the San Antonio company, which makes Pioneer baking mixes and other food products. Buckles said, "I am confident the addition of Baldinger [and] Sons' talented team will strengthen [Guenther & Son's] leadership position in our markets and enhance our product offering for our customers." - According to MovieMaker, "a quarterly magazine and website based in Los Angeles," San Antonio is one of the Best Places to Live and Work as a Moviemaker in 2022 on their annual list. The Alamo City ranked No. 22 nationally and No. 3 in Texas on the list, which was based on various factors such as "surveys, production spending, tax incentives, additional research, and personal visits." MovieMaker editor-in-chief Tim Molloy said, "San Antonio offers a welcoming film community and timeless locations for any type of project." He added, "The countless filmmakers moving to Texas from Los Angeles and California should take a serious look at this charming, friendly, affordable city, the seventh-biggest in the country, for a vibrant and dedicated film culture and lots of opportunities to work."
