Families can pick up a free back and school supplies (while supplies last) as well as enjoy free food and entertainment. The event will include music by Azul Barrientos, story time with children’s author Xavier Garza, poetry with Anthony Flores and appearances by the Lanier BlueJacket Cheerleaders and the Lanier BlueJacket Dance Team. Additional activities will include a children’s petting zoo and art activities by Spare Parts.

Laura Cole, Director of Bibliotech, describes their support for students, “BiblioTech’s robust library collection includes a variety of resources to support student learning, and incite exploration. We are proud to partner with SAISD in advancing our community of young learners.
