San Antonio: Dr. Colleen Bridger To Lead Metro Health
She will continue as Assistant City Manager and oversee her current depts.: Parks and Recreation, Human Services and the Office of Equity.

Effective immediately Dr. Colleen Bridger will become the Interim Director of the San Antonio Metro Health Department, a position she held prior to her appointment as Assistant City Manager. Bridger had planned to leave the City next month to begin a consulting practice, but she has committed to stay with the organization until a new permanent Metro Health Director is appointed.

“I have full confidence in Dr. Bridger and the Metro Health team in its ongoing management of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said City Manager Erik Walsh.
Dr. Bridger will continue as Assistant City Manager and oversee her current departments: Parks and Recreation, Human Services and the Office of Equity.
