Here are the top stories today in San Antonio:

  1. On Tuesday, Feb. 22, "Bexar County Commissioners unanimously approved a request from Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales for additional investigators for the Family Justice Center." The Family Justice Center only has one investigator, and according to Gonzales, that's a safety issue. He said, "Many times, the respondents are dangerous. Our investigator has even encountered a known assassin who was a respondent in a protective order case. The amount of research and planning that it takes to serve someone like that and the manpower or firepower it may take to safely serve the papers is simply too much for one investigator." 2. San Antonio's BiblioTech all-digital public library is offering masterclasses taught by celebrities such as Metallica, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Chef Gordon Ramsay and many more! All you need is a library card to access online courses in music, songwriting, cooking and more! For details visit: (Press Release Desk)
  3. The Koehler house, located at 310 W. Ashby Place near San Antonio College, will soon be sold for $2 million to Weston Urban, which is "led by Graham Weston, the one-time San Antonio billionaire who founded Rackspace Technology Inc." The local developer will convert the historic house into "a restaurant, hotel and entertainment space." The mansion was originally built in 1901 for Pearl Brewing magnate Otto Koehler. In 1971, "he deeded the estate to the San Antonio Union Junior College District for the use as the Koehler Cultural Center" where they "housed ceramics, art metals and jewelry design studios for the visual arts and technology department."
