  1. As we gather with families to celebrate Christmas and New Year's, so will many local city employees and although "public safety and emergency services will remain in operation," most city offices will close for the holidays.   3. Mannheim Steamroller will perform at the Majestic Theatre, located at 224 E. Houston St. on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m. The San Antonio performance is part of the musical group's tour, which "celebrates the 35th anniversary of the instrumental act's Christmas LP, which turns out to be the biggest-selling Christmas album of all time." The live show will feature "classical music and rock along with multimedia presentations and lights." Tickets range from $49.50-$125 and can be purchased at majesticempire.com.   4. "The former Sunset Station Train Depot, located at 1174 E. Commerce St." is now the 1902 Nightclub, "a glamorous 1900s-era nightclub" that opened in November. General Manager Victor Valenzuela said, "1902 Nightclub is a labor of love for myself and our partners." He added, "Guests will experience a venue unlike any other… The atmosphere, drinks, and service will rival any nightclub in any city around the world. We have meticulously preserved the history of the train depot while pushing it forward." On Friday, Dec. 31, the new venue will hold an inaugural New Year's Eve party.
