Here are the top stories today in San Antonio:
- Now that crawfish season is here, one San Antonio restaurant called L.A. Crawfish is ready to serve you! Franchise Director Katie Pham said, "We are a Cajun and Asian fusion seafood concept. We take your most traditional Cajun dishes, and we add our own Asian twist to it to bring that extra kick of flavor." The menu features a huge selection of seafood options, as well as specialty dishes. One such specialty dish is Crawfish Pho which contains sausage, crawfish tails, noodles, vegetables and spices. Pham said, "Cajun and Asian are very rich in their seafood tradition. So, the culture of those two make the perfect pair." - Recently Cracker Barrel Old Country Store "launched a virtual concept called The Pancake Kitchen by Cracker Barrel" which delivers pancakes all day long! The concept began in L.A. in 2021 and is now in 200 U.S. locations, including San Antonio. The menu includes five varieties of pancakes, which are buttermilk, blueberry, pecan, confetti and chocolate chip flavors. They also have non-pancake options such as "biscuit beignets, a hash brown casserole, and a loaded hash brown casserole topped with diced ham and cheddar cheese."
