Here are the top stories in San Antonio today:
- San Antonio's AT&T Center sizzled with excitement as two of the hottest stars in Latin music, Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias, appeared at the AT&T Center during their 2021 World Tour this past weekend. The two singers performed all their greatest hits, including Iglesias's Spanish and English Billboard chart songs, and Martin's famous "Livin' La Vida Loca." - The two-story building that once housed the New York Bar in far North San Antonio has reopened, but now it's called the Redland Ice House. The new venue offers mixed drinks, wine and beer, including beer on tap "from Texas-based breweries such as Houston's Karbach Brewing Co. and San Antonio's Alamo Beer Co." and features small tables upstairs for intimate gatherings and picnic tables and pool downstairs. Located at 2838 North Loop 1604 East, Suite 105, it's open Monday through Saturday 2 p.m.-2 a.m., and Sunday noon-2 p.m. (Subscription: San Antonio Current)
- Shopping and drinking go hand in hand at the new Southtown San Antonio spot, La Segunda Bartique & Gallery, located at 1302 S St Mary's St. "Owned and operated by local musician and Lighthouse Lounge partner, Eduardo Hernandez," the spot features vintage and antique shopping and serves beer and wine to customers while they shop. - Blossoms & Bubbly is ready to help you create your own flower arrangements, just in time for the holidays! On Sunday, Nov. 21, a professional florist will teach you how to make a Pretty Pumpkin Arrangement centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. The cost of the class is $60 and includes flowers, materials, a pumpkin, and instruction from a certified professional florist. - Nate Bargatze is coming to San Antonio's Majestic Theater on Thursday, Feb., 10, 2022! The standup comedian will perform at the Majestic Theater at 7 p.m. during his "The Raincheck" tour, bringing with him all new material that is sure to make the audience roll with laughter! "In 2019, Bargatze released his Netflix special 'The Tennessee Kid'" and in 2021, "his most recent special, 'The Greatest Average American' aired on Netflix."
