- As Texans show their support for Uvalde in different ways, one San Antonian is doing it in a very special way. To honor the 21 victims of the recent shooting tragedy at Robb Elementary School, Artist Belinda Benavidez created "21 white crosses adorned with wings" and set them down Main Street towards Uvalde, "along with red, white, and blue flowers and flags." She said, "I want Uvalde to know that the United States is standing with them. Not only that, but the world is. The world is praying for them but also praying for action." (ABC7 Los Angeles)
- Joseph Gonzales, a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School, organized this year's Mental Health Awareness Walk "to break the stigma surrounding mental health, especially among teens." More than 100 people participated in the walk which, "for the first time," was held at the Alamo Stadium at 110 Tuleta Dr. Gonzales, who suffers from depression and anxiety, feels that "talking about his mental health has helped him" and wants others "to not be afraid to talk about it. - Although Antonio Raul Corbo is only 13 years old," the "actor and San Antonio native" already seems to be a "veteran in the industry!" The middle school student, who studied at "St. Gregory Catholic School and Lamar Elementary" in San Antonio "before moving to Los Angeles" began "his professional career in 2014 at the age of 5." Since then, he has been a voice actor on "Cartoon Network's We Bare Bears, The Secret Life of Pets 2, and Frozen II" and in 2020, "he played a kid version of SpongeBob SquarePants" on "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run." Recently he dubbed the "Japanese anime animated movie, Poupelle of Chimney Town, in English. Regarding his future plans, Corbo said, "Hopefully, I can end up like Hugh Jackman...He's been my favorite actor since I was 3." For more on the young actor visit: (mySA)

- The BiblioTech Public Library invites all " patrons and local musicians to listen to or even submit their own wide variety of local music for their community."
