SAN ANTONIO, TX — The man suspected of shooting his estranged wife to death and driving off with their 18-month-old child has shot himself and is now in "grave condition," San Antonio police said. Officers were called to help with a child exchange just after 8 a.m. Sunday.
As officers were headed to the scene they received a second call that gunshots had erupted. Multiple shots were fired, police said.
Concepcion, 37, drove off in a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck with a bronze star military specialty license plate, police said. He was or is in the military, police said.
