- Piper's Meadow Park, located on San Antonio's West Side, officially opened on Wednesday, Nov. 3. Spanning 3 acres, the park "includes a concrete walking trail and major storm water drainage improvements to the area, which was previously susceptible to flooding." The project was developed by Parks and Recreation Department, Public Works and the District 6 City Council Office to "enable families to connect with nature, and draw storm water away from nearby homes." - The Alamo City is rich in outdoor public art and now that the cool weather is here, it's the perfect time to to visit "local murals and public artwork" and "get your fill of art in San Antonio" without having to go to a museum.
