Here are the top stories in San Antonio today:

  1. A Pixar-themed putt-putt golf course called PIXAR PUTT will be coming to San Antonio from April 1-May 15. The venue, located at 125 N. Flores St., will feature "18 fun and interactive holes inspired by" Pixar films like "Toy Story," "The Incredibles" and "Monsters, Inc." and characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Andy, the Bugs and Flash. COVID-19 precautions will be taken such as limiting the number of players, social distancing, providing hand sanitizing stations and cleaning golf equipment between players per session. Tickets will be sold online only starting Friday, Feb. 18, through their website at PIXAR PUTT. For more information visit: (kens5.com)
  2. The Lilypad Farm School, located at 18952 Redland Road, "emphasizes learning outside with nature." The school, which opened 11 years ago, has 2 campuses: the garden school for infants to 3 year olds, and the farm school for children ages 3-6. Both campuses have gardens where kids learn to grow organic, seasonal fruits and help plant, water and harvest vegetables. Owner Lilly Arguello said, "Nature is part of our world... Without that, none of us would be here. So, it's really important for kids to come down to the basics and learn how to grow food. Learn how to care for animals and be self-sustainable." 3. H-E-B is celebrating its "20th birthday of H-E-B's Excellence in Education Awards" and to "honor outstanding public-school professionals and thank them for their dedication and commitment," the grocery chain is releasing a limited-edition Creamy Creations ice cream called "Education Heroes." The ice cream is icing-flavored and is filled with cake chunks and rainbow sprinkles, and it will be available in gallon and pint-sized tubs later this week. Part of the "proceeds will go to the nonprofit DonorsChoose, which enables individuals to donate directly to public-school classroom projects." For more information visit: (San Antonio Current)
