San Antonio ISD, in collaboration with Palo Alto College, will roll-out the AlamoPROMISE initiative to Burbank High School seniors. In between drumrolls and rustling pompoms, students will learn how they may benefit from a tuition-free education at Palo Alto College or any of the five colleges in the Alamo Colleges district.Β Β 
Β 
AlamoPROMISE covers tuition and required fees for students seeking an academic certificate or associate degree from any of the Alamo Colleges. Students meeting eligibility criteria receive a last-dollar scholarship for up to three years, which covers the cost of tuition and required fees after financial aid awards are applied.Β 
Β 
The application period is now open for eligible seniors from Burbank and other participating high schools to β€˜save their seat” for tuition-free college as an AlamoPROMISE Scholar.Β

Scholarship applications received by May 1, 2022 will be given priority consideration.Β
