San Antonio-Area Residents Can Donate Old Cars To Benefit Various Charities

'One Car One Difference' campaign enables donors to pick their benefiting charity while helping the environment at the same time.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — There's still time left to donate one's old vehicles to charity through the "One Car One Difference" campaign in the San Antonio region.

Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA), a business unit of KAR Auction Services and leading provider of vehicle liquidation, logistics, title processing and inventory sourcing for damaged, high mileage and lower value vehicles, launched the goodwill campaign in late May.

Through July 16, residents in the San Antonio area to donate their vehicles to support their favorite charity such as Kidney Cars, the Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, the American Heart Association, Boy Scouts of America, the Humane Society and more. Donors are given the opportunity to choose where to allocate their proceeds.

In addition to supporting many charity favorites, the “One Car One Difference” campaign also helps the environment through recycling. Donating older vehicles with outdated environmental emissions standards helps ensure less pollution for everyone, officials noted.

More information on the program can be found at www.1car1difference.com. Donations can be made directly on the website as well. While the campaign runs through July 16, those making tax-deductible donations can do so at anytime.
